The Gameplan : Ribeye Steak in Seattle

I love steaks. I love ribeye steaks, with the bone-in, preferably. The best steaks I’ve ever had, at a steakhouse, have been at Mastro’s in Beverly Hills and in Scottsdale, Arizona. They have an amazing method of preparing the 22 oz. dry-aged cut, searing it, broiling it, and serving on a very very hot plate with little seasoning (just clarified butter, sea salt and ground pepper).

However, there are no Mastro’s Steakhouses in Seattle. But we still have plenty of steakhouses to choose from, including Metropolitan Grill, John Howie Steakhouse, Morton’s, Ruth’s Chris, and Daniel’s Broiler. Herein is the definitive Top 5 Ribeye Steaks of Seattle. I’ve already tried The Capital Grille several times, and will review it soon. The gameplan is to visit these restaurants over the course of the next year and rank not the restaurant, but the entree alone. Stay tuned!
